Our youth group meets on Wednesday Nights at 7:00 pm led by Janet Jacquillard. Janet has a great team working with her in leadership. The group enjoys studies that strengthen their faith. Look for us on the lower level of the church (enter from Falcon Drive).

During September, we plan a Sunday to enjoy our worship service and lunch out at a nearby park. Worship starts at 10:30 a.m. followed by a delicious picnic lunch. The church typically provides hamburgers, hot dogs & paper products. There is a sign up sheet available for each family to bring food.

No services take place at the church on Picnic Sunday so please watch the church calendar for details.

It's great to experience the outdoors together while we enjoy a time of worship, food and fellowship.

Every Christmas eve, our church family gathers to celebrate the Reason for the Season: Jesus Christ. We enjoy singing carols and Christmas praise songs; we are challenged by relevant teaching; we light candles as a visual reminder that Christ is the light of the world. We are called to share our faith by spreading that light to others who need to hear the Message of hope that Jesus came to bring.

Connellsville Church of God is blessed with a number of great cooks! Our Fellowship Team plans several church dinners throughout the year including our annual Pastor Appreciation Dinner in October and our church Thanksgiving Dinner in November. Some of the other dinners they plan are fund raisers for various projects around the church and some dinners are pot luck style. The team always lets us know either what to bring or what to pay, whatever is applicable.

These dinners are a great way to get acquainted with folks in our church family you may not know very well. Plus the food is always delicious!

The first week of August each year, the churches in Western PA come together to enjoy a week of great music, tremendous preaching, thought provoking conferences and activities for all age groups. You’ll find great fellowship, food and fun for everyone in the family.

The Church of God is very fortunate to have a scenic campground nestled in the hills of central Pennsylvania. The camp is used throughout the year for ministers’ meetings, Institute for Servant Leadership training events, junior and senior high youth camps plus the family camp meeting. The facilities are available for rent; many other church and civic groups utilize the meeting facilities throughout the year. The setting is beautiful and relaxing.
