Lead Pastor Nelson D. Confer


			Welcome to the Connellsville Church of God web site. I am glad to be able to share a few thoughts with you. Our church welcomes everyone and anyone to come and worship and have fun together. We are affiliated with the Church of God, Anderson, Indiana. As Senior Pastor of this beautiful congregation, please let me share a little bit about myself. My wife Bonnie and I have been married for 33 years and have one daughter. We have served within the Church of God for 24 years. Together, we have pastured 5 churches and 2 youth associate positions.
		We are very passionate about ministry and our very personal relationship with God. We enjoy just being with people of all ages. My preaching style is evangelistic with emphasis on teaching. I use a variety of scripture and illustrations. I have a heart for ministry and a heart for people. My deep concern and passion of ministry is to see people come to know the Lord. We are living in very troubled times and so many families and individuals are hurting. Bonnie and I both have a deep desire to reach out to them in Christ-like love. It is an honor and blessing to be the Minster of these precious people. Our church offers so many various opportunities. I encourage you to check out our website. Administrative Assistant Bev Hileman

Bev is from Massachusetts. She was born in Woburn and grew up in Andover. She met her husband, Don, while he was stationed there at Hanscom Field. Six weeks after they were married, they were transferred to Germany. From Germany they went to Cannon Air Force Base in New Mexico, where their son Josh was born. Don is from Dickerson Run, so they returned here to the area where he grew up when he was discharged from the Air Force.

Bev has worked at Connellsville Church of God since fall of 2000.
